Yasmin Cardoza, Ph.D

Yasmin is an internationally recognized agricultural scientist with more than 25 years of experience advancing sustainable crop protection and integrated pest management. Her career spans academia, government, multinational industry, startups, and international consulting, including leadership roles at Bayer Crop Science, BASF, Invaio Sciences, North Carolina State University, and USDA.

 

Yasmin has led multidisciplinary research and development programs that support biological crop protection, regulatory strategy, greenhouse and field evaluations, and product development. Her expertise encompasses entomology, biological control, host-plant interactions, insect-microbe ecology, integrated pest management (IPM), and sustainable agricultural systems.

 

As a scientific advisor, board member, and consultant, she also supports international organizations and agricultural development initiatives across North and South America. Yasmin helps clients develop science-based strategies, evaluate emerging technologies, and accelerate the adoption of sustainable agricultural innovations.
